Tomorrow marks a new year. 2010.
For me, 2009 was a year of firsts. And I mean alot of firsts.
My first Snow Camp with High Schoolers. Literally on the 1st of January. Which started my first "major" production process. I also published my first fanvideo (Themes of Stargate Atlantis) on January 11th.
I had my first surprise birthday party. And there I got my first real video camera.
I filmed my first short comedy skit, Joker Orders a Pizza. We will now never speak of that ever again.
I filmed my first web-series, which flopped, but I had a ton of fun shooting. (Craig for Riley- Fangrls take to the streets)
And since uploading my first youtube video, I have since uploaded 25 more videos with a total of just under 12,000 hits total (meaning all 26 video views put together)
Aside from filming firsts, I also drove for the first time. I ran into something as well for the first (But probably not last) time.
I got first place in laser tag (For the first time. Oh irony :-)
I went to my first book signing, which also counts as my first time meeting somebody that I first knew online, and the first time meeting a famous person.
I published my first major fanfiction. Meaning that it was more than 1,000 words and more than 1 chapter. (A Person to die for. Written for Numb3rs.)
On that note, many of you know this but I also wrote my first novel! (And finished my first NaNoWriMo)
So it has been a year of firsts for me. I look forward to 2010, and the new firsts that it will bring. (Perhaps my first 100 subscribers on youtube?)

Another freaking insomniatic night
Night.
The time for sleep.
Supposedly.
Not for me.
For me it is a time to sit.
And sit.
and sit.
You get alot of time to think.
About what you did that day.
What you are going to do the next.
Hour after hour of tossing and turning.
Sometimes coming close to sleep.
But never reaching it.
You think about a lot of things.
Past Conversations.
Future ones.
On occasion these things haunt you.
Ruining any chance of sleep.
That you might have once had.
So here it is.
Night again.
What will I think about tonight?
The time for sleep.
Supposedly.
Not for me.
For me it is a time to sit.
And sit.

Editing a video...
Recently I have been editing tons of videos. All of them for Alice, but that's besides the point.
I love manipulating footage. It just so happens that I have all three hours of Alice at my disposal and a hat full of ideas. Not to mention 11 new subscribers ;-)
There's something so easy about editing a video. I love listening to the music and having an open space to drop my clips into. Then you slice of the shots you don't want, position it to fit with the beat of the music, and figure out if you need a special effect or transition for that particular bit.
Slow videos are easier, but a bit boring. You don't have to make as many cuts and don't have to hunt for something that fits the beat perfectly.
But fast videos are more fun. You can fit more bits into it, and if you edit just right, then they can be far more moving than a slow video.
I'm not sure why I am posting this, aside from the fact that it is midnight and I can not sleep.
So I will say goodbye,
KMP

Not another fandom!!!
Yes, I have officially joined yet another fandom. Well, in a way two, but I'll get to that later.
I now officially call myself an Alice fan. I have read fanfiction, will soon be posting some of my own, have made five fanvideos, and have seen the series more than three times. I am a fangrl.
Also, exciting news one of Andrew Lee's websites has linked to my video "Don't leave me tonight" (Andrew Lee is Hatter. And adorable ;-)
If you havn't manadged to catch any of my videos head over to my channel http://www.youtube.com/user/stargatelvr11 and then if you want to watch Alice then go here, click play all and settle in for 3 hours of pure syfy epicness http://www.youtube.com/user/stargatelvr11#grid/user/4AF2E042F15A2424

Greetings Greetings
hello all!
I just wanted to let you know about a few things that are coming up, first of all there will be a mini series of blog posts coming up about the making of fanvideos (Should start around monday) And then if there are any girls that want to come over and watch the 2009 Star Trek let me know.
Also Christmas! Yey! I will be going to my grandparents cabin the day after until the 29th, then there are various family things going on and then Snow Camp to kick off 2010.
Also if anybody owns Primeval or knows where I can get it please let me know! I manadged to find Ep. 1 online, but I want the rest! Series 1 please :-)
And then I wanted to break down one of my fanvideos for you guys. It is Alice- The Lightning Strike. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VEKzYbxOuRE
If you havn't seen it then be sure to watch ^ beware of a few spoilers.
It starts off in Black and white, I took advantage of "The Lighning Storm"'s long intro to do an extended beginning of Alice, up to where Hatter spins in his chair and then things pick up. When Alice is "Between worlds" I changed the colour so that when we are in Wonderland we are in colour. Then when she returns home I put her back into Black and White. Then of course when Hatter (Or David ;-) comes back so does the colour.
Rather clever of me eh? I was trying to push the idea of our world being without colour and that even when she "loved" Jack (miserable toad) things were without colour and unreal. Ironic because Wonderland is more real than our world is. Then when Hatter comes the colour returns. A lovely little effect. Thank you all

Alice
It must have been a month or so ago that I saw my first commercial for SyFy’s new miniseries, Alice. I was intrigued from the beginning, but unable to catch it live on SyFy for the big debut. Luckily for me it was put up online. I fell in love.
Not right away mind you. It wasn’t until Andrew Lee Potts came on as Hatter that I finally decided I would watch all of it. The beginning was a little odd, and I had issues with Alice for a bit. But then wonder of all wonders, Hatter with his cute smile and delectable accent came on and I decided to like this.
Everything went uphill from there. Turns out this particular SyFy movie has everything I tend to love in a movie. Complicated plot twists, touches of Fantasy but not overwhelmingly so, and of course that tool of all ages a love triangle.
Not to mention not once did I catch a production accident. Not one reflection, shadow, or bad editing cut throughout the entire three hours. Mind you I have only watched it three times from front to back, but this is still a remarkable feat in my mind. Even Serenity has a few minor issues with reflections.
Now, Alice does have a few minor plot holes, but I love them! Its always fun to have a few things to poke your finger through in the fabric of the story.
The details in this particular fabric are amazing! From the little old lady with the gun, to Hatter’s hairdo, everything is not quite what it seems and at the same time points to something else. I was surprised everyway that the movie found another way to tip it’s hat to the original Alice in Wonderland.

Thoughts from the other end of the NaNo line
Well, I have officially been done with NaNo for four days. And like in the middle of the month I have a few insights into NaNo, things I have done, and other random thoughts.
1. Brackets are AMAZGING! If you know what has to happen but don't know how exactly it happens or really want to get to the next scene these are KEY.
2. Write-ins are not necessary. Next to none of my novel was actually written away from home, unless you count the four thousand written at my grandparents cabin in the first Week of NaNo.
3. Just turn the spell checker off. Those annoying red lines will only make your inner editor go beserk.
4. If you are in the mood to write, or have a good idea, UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES DO YOU STOP! This happened for me where I wrote 8,000 words in five hours to finish up my novel. Yes, I am bragging just a little bit there :-)
5. If you arn't going anywhere personal hygine only needs to be taken care of to the point where you do not care. Personally I do not have to shower every day, or even every other day and since I was not going anywhere I gave up alot of shower time to write. Do not worry, that habit will not continue ;-)
6. Clementines when they are not in season are good if you roll them in sugar. After peeling of course.
7. Its better to just put one good song on repeat for hours than to come up with a complicated play-list. I went from song to song with FiveOhFirst, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Projected Twin, Hans Zimmer, and of course Owl City being my main artists.
8. Use the word sprints through twitter. These always boosted my count to where I could write 1200 words in half an hour at times.
9. DO NOT think about what others will think when they read this. I have a few scenes that I will never show the world, or anyone beyond a few VERY close friends. Thinking about this gets you off track and your inner editor comes back.
10. I have eaten over two dozen Candy Canes. They are very yummy and the peppermint is good for creativity.
11. Use a few personal experiances. I was able to incorperate the high-ropes course from my fall retreat in October into the final act of my novel and it made for a great scene!
12. Go ahead and dress like a writer on occasion, not only does it make you feel cool but you just feel like you can take a pen and create something that will be spectacular. Even if it is just a doodle. Personally I like to wear gloves with the fingers cut out, black nail polish, a black hat, and an unbuttoned, oversize black button up over a T-shirt.
13. Even when all your buddies quit, keep going! None of my writing buddies made it past the half-way mark. Yes they all fail ;-)
14. Use your support system! I would not have made it if it weren't for FB friends and of course my delightful Squirrels who were always ready with hugs and cheers.
15. I went through all of my halloween candy.
16. I had to stop and wonder a few times just how demented I was, especially when I wrote Jules (My Main Character) flashbacks.
17. I learned that it is okay to totally screw the plot that you spent a week working on the last week of October. It will work out.
18. And finally I became a novelist. I own bragging writes to writing a novel in twenty-five days and being one of the first one-hundred people done with NaNoWriMo.
Thanks to all for reading my random thoughts,
KMP
P.S. I did not win the EIP fanvideo contest. Oh well, I knew some of the winners and congrats to them!

I am done!!
Whew! 50,000 words in not thirty, but twenty-five days. What a rush!
For those you math geniuses, yes that was two days ago. At 4:21 A.M. on November 25th I finished my novel, who's working title is, "The Witnesses".
Now everyone is asking me, "When can I read it?!?" My answer to you. Not for a while. A few choice people might receive a digital copy before 2009 ends, but most of you probably will not see it until after I turn 16. Why? You ask. Because I have to edit. How many of you write a ten page paper and then immediately turn it in? Well, I have written fifteen ten page papers. And if you have ever written a few different size papers you know that the longer the paper, the longer it will take to edit.
My plans for the novel... Well at the moment they consist of simply editing. Because I 'won' NaNoWriMo, I have recieved a free coupon for a free 'proof copy' of my novel from CreateSpace. Essentially it is a paperback volume of my novel, which expires in six months. So I have six months to really edit it.
Depending on feedback and how I feel about the novel I might then look into publishing it. Maybe.
That is all for now!
KMPeterson, official novel writer.
P.S. Who wants to see James Cameron's Avatar with me next month?

What is NaNoWriMo?
What is NaNoWriMo?
National Novel Writing Month is a fun, seat-of-your-pants approach to novel writing. Participants begin writing November 1. The goal is to write a 175-page (50,000-word) novel by midnight, November 30.
Valuing enthusiasm and perseverance over painstaking craft, NaNoWriMo is a novel-writing program for everyone who has thought fleetingly about writing a novel but has been scared away by the time and effort involved.
Because of the limited writing window, the ONLY thing that matters in NaNoWriMo is output. It's all about quantity, not quality. The kamikaze approach forces you to lower your expectations, take risks, and write on the fly.
Make no mistake: You will be writing a lot of crap. And that's a good thing. By forcing yourself to write so intensely, you are giving yourself permission to make mistakes. To forgo the endless tweaking and editing and just create. To build without tearing down.
As you spend November writing, you can draw comfort from the fact that, all around the world, other National Novel Writing Month participants are going through the same joys and sorrows of producing the Great Frantic Novel. Wrimos meet throughout the month to offer encouragement, commiseration, and—when the thing is done—the kind of raucous celebrations that tend to frighten animals and small children.
In 2008, we had over 119,000 participants. More than 21,000 of them crossed the 50k finish line by the midnight deadline, entering into the annals of NaNoWriMo superstardom forever. They started the month as auto mechanics, out-of-work actors, and middle school English teachers. They walked away novelists.
So, to recap:
What: Writing one 50,000-word novel from scratch in a month's time.
Who: You! We can't do this unless we have some other people trying it as well. Let's write laughably awful yet lengthy prose together.
Why: The reasons are endless! To actively participate in one of our era's most enchanting art forms! To write without having to obsess over quality. To be able to make obscure references to passages from our novels at parties. To be able to mock real novelists who dawdle on and on, taking far longer than 30 days to produce their work.
When: You can sign up anytime to add your name to the roster and browse the forums. Writing begins November 1. To be added to the official list of winners, you must reach the 50,000-word mark by November 30 at midnight. Once your novel has been verified by our web-based team of robotic word counters, the partying begins.
Taken from the NaNoWriMo website. In otherwords aside from these two sentences I did nothing but copy and paste this entire blog ;-)

A few things I have done and learned this month
Now officially halfway through my novel, I can just barely see the end of my novel. I actually have two plots, not sure which is the B plot exactly since they are so intertwined. Currently I have 25,416 words 108,100 characters (as in letters and such) 3558 lines, 78 pages, and 1,317 paragraphs. My spell and grammar checker has been turned off, and I have only showered three times in the past fifteen days. I have managed one Vlog, possibly another to come soon, have dyed my hair a very dark brown, worn black nail polish, and had far too much coffee.
I've been up until at least one everynight, not just because I write late, but because I then stay up thinking about what to do next. I have gone through about five songs where I listened to one song for several hours on repeat. And I have written more in the past fifteen days then I did all summer on "Crash" (In an unrelated not my most popular youtube video [ma ya hi allen and craig show] also hit three thousand hits!)
Things I have learned, the second week is pure pain. You think that all you have is crap, but already on week three I am starting to love my novel again :-) I have also learned that when a bunch of your friends have your back you know that even if you fail they will make fun but still love you for trying. I have learned that its ok to change your plot within the first ten pages. It works out better. I learned that sometimes characters you thought were important really arn't. I learned that while I might really want to kill a character they are vital to the story and can't die until the sequal. And Finally I have learned that without God I wouldn't have the ability or hope to even get where I have gotton.
That is all my readers! Rest assured you will get a copy of my manuscript eventually. Some earlier than others depending on if you are in it and how much I like you :-)

A few insights from NaNoWriMo land
Hello all! I offer you bright greetings from the NaNoWriMo world and would like to offer some character insights that none of you will understand.
I based a character on one of my Youth Group leaders, Scott. Full name; Scott Strunk, Character Name; Scott Knurts. First person to comment on how the character name releates to the real name gets bonus points.
But anyways, I would like to share a few funny facts. All I really borrowed from the real Scott was his name, general looks, and exact opposite. See, Scott S. is generally the person that will always make you laugh, where as Scott K. is totally serious faced all the time. I also generally find Scott S. easy to read, where as Scott K. is totally solid faced all the time and you can never figure out what is really going on up there. Oh wait- that’s a similarity ;-)
That is all, thank you

Flash forward! Genuis theory or major plothole?
OK, so this is either my sheer genius theory or its a major plot hole in ABC's show Flash Forward (Havn't seen it? Get your butt over to Hulu. Its freakin amazing!)
Anyways we all know how they have flash forwards, but that flash forward it only from that exact point in time that they were at. But say they had the flash forward and then two minutes later had another, well their second flash forward would be different because the first flash forward would've changed their future. With me so far?
Ok, so here's my hole/genius theory. Mark's flash forward he's investigating the flash forwards, but the problem is that from the point in time of his flash forwards they hadn't happened yet, so from his point in time he wouldn't be investigating the flash forwards cause they hadden't happened yet. So in my mind either A. This is a huge plot hold or B. He wasn't really investigating the flash forwards in his flash forwards.
So what do you think? Genius theory or huge plot hole?

NaNoWriMo Info
"Hey all!
This is Ky (AKAStargatelvr) and I'm asking for a bit of help in November. Some of you know that during that month I am doing NaNoWriMo, or National Novel Writing month, where I write a 50,000 word book in 30 days starting November 1st.
Now I'm asking for you to pick a day sometime in November (Preferably not one of the first few) and send me an email, Facebook message... encouraging me as I attempt to do this. I'm told that the second and third weeks are the hardest. Just saying "you can do it." and such. Maybe you could include some kind of challenge or something "Use a duck today" idk. You can be creative! lol.
Thank you all!
KyAKAStargatelvr"
That message went out a few minutes ago, so if you're here then its probably cause I sent that out and in the P.S. I included my blog. Hence you are here (Or cause this also gets posted on FB)
Anyway, here's a overview of what word count I should be on each day of November
Day 1 1,667 Day 16
Day 2 3,334 Day 17
Day 3 5,001 Day 18
Day 4 6,668 Day 19
Day 5 8,335 Day 20
Day 6 10,002 Day 21
Day 7 11,669 Day 22
Day 8 13,336 Day 23
Day 9 15,003 Day 24
Day 10 16,670 Day 25
Day 11 18,337 Day 26
Day 12 20,004 Day 27
Day 13 21,671 Day 28
Day 14 23,338 Day 30; 50,000!! Done!
Day 15 25,005
Supposed to work like that, but IDK.
There's going to be a widget over here ---> somewhere on my blog throughout the month that should say where I am with my word count. If there isn't then you can check my profile http://www.nanowrimo.org/eng/user/507786
And as for Novel Info, this is what's on my profile
Somewhere, in the heart of Wisconsin- Yes, the Cheese state does have a heart, despite its horrid football team- anyways. Somewhere in the heart of Wisconsin there is a camp. Inside It looks like your typical summer camp. Log Cabins, lake, mess hall, tree's everywhere, until you reach the edge of the camp. There you'll find a fence, topped with razor wire, with white out lights that stay on all night long.
Why? Well, that's a complicated question. The official answer; Because this particular camp houses the rich and famous, along with the regular and normal. One out of every four kids is either a child actor, child of a politician or Actor, or is just the kid of some really really rich person. The other three out of four are kids taken from all over the country. Just regular kids. But like I said, that's the official answer. The truth is that take those three remaining kids, from about three other groups of four, and then you'll have one of us. One of the Witnesses.
And that's all I have for you aside from the youtube spotlight, a song that has been stuck in my head for days

Jane Lynch, Glee and Criminal Minds
Many people (Especially teenagers) are raving about the new hit show Glee, a show on Fox about a club called Glee which is essentially a Show Choir. Starring at the Cheer leading coach, and major rival to the leader of glee club leader, Mr. Shue, is Jane Lynch as Sue Sylvester. Recently I've seen alot of Jane, going through the first four seasons of Criminal minds, where she plays my favorite characters's mother. (Yes Dr. Spencer Reid's mom. first person to say something...)
So at first while watching Glee I giggled at the contrast and similarities of these two characters. Sue being utterly terrifying, and Diana Reid (The Mom on Criminal Minds) being schizophrenic, and terrifying.
Then I had, what I feel, to be a genius idea. Matthew Gray Gubler on Glee! I can easily see him as being a retired glee member, having fallen during a performance and broken his knee. Now I don't really know if Matthew can sing, so a way around that is for him to have never been able to sing, only dance! The moral of the episode being something like "You don't have to sing to be in Glee club" or some such. Its just an idea floating around my head, but maybe in preperattion for NaNoWriMo I can attempt to write the script in the 18 days I have left until November. A kind-of warm up so to speak.
That is all. In the meantime enjoy this fantastic Glee song

Things that make me smile :-)
So, I was wandering around the interweb, unable to sleep and I decided to come up with a random list of things that make me Smile/Laugh. So here they are-
Random pieces of flair about writers, Ex. "The place of a writer is to do the most deranged things humanly possible to their characters"
A Kaleb Nation BlogTV.
Madison (My little orange cat) Sleeping on my dirty cloths on my floor
Pictures of Matthew Gray Gubler, either being silly or wearing his mismatching socks.
Fmylife.com Yes, I know the title, but if you're feeling particularly screwed, it makes you think "At least I'm not that guy" Ex. Today, my wife got the flu. While she was sleeping, I went out to buy her some soup and other things. When I was walking back through the door, she woke up, thought I was a burglar, and threw the closest thing to her at me. What was it? A cactus. FML
Random Wall Posts on my Facebook about something funny.
Watching one of my favorite geek on TV have a girl like him. They always get so flustered.
Writing something that actually has a happy ending.
Youth Group.
Reading something that actually has a happy ending.
A New Evil Iguana Productions video at the end of a crappy day
Toying with a new fanvideo, putting a random clip in and realizing that it fits perfectly!
Getting Chocolate. Weather its bought for me or I pay for it.
Watching a really good episode of anything. Be it Criminal Minds, Dollhouse, Stargate, Flash Forward or otherwise.
Being retweeted by a favorite twitterer
Seeing one of my favorite actors do a guest role on another show I just got into. Ex. Ginna Torres was on Flash Forward last week
Going to bed without my kittie and waking up with her sleeping next to me.
Getting an extremly inside joke. On anything.
Hearing about a new project a friend is excited about.
Finding a fellow fan at the book store, randomly.
Hearing "Can't stop the Signal"
Having a conversation about ten tweets long with someone and being told I'm clogging their home page.
Ok, so a few random things that make me smile :-)
Hugs to all that need them

Ok, so what is new?
Bum Bum da dum... I'm bored so I thought I would type up a blog post. So this is going to be random thoughts as I think them and then as they flow onto the keyboard. Oooh, that was a good sentence. I'll have to remember that one. :-)
Currently I'm in the middle of a new Evil Iguana Productions fanvideo (yes another one. But I can't get my greedy fingers on enough Criminal Minds footage to make a good video) and I am stuck. Never knew you could get editors block ;-) I'm just having trouble with some of these clips and making them fit. Probably because I literally spent no time in pre-production, just went right into it. Silly me.
Oh, and I am waiting for my Bran Hambric Necklace to come in!! Kaleb's publisher finally got back to me on Tuesday letting me know that yes, I did qualify and they'll get the necklace out to me soon!
Also, because I don't think I really said anything about it, last Tuesday Mary, Mom and I drove two hours into Chicago to meet Mr. Kaleb Nation! I'll attach my montage video at the end, but here's a quick overview of the trip.
We got there with coffee (Not Starbucks, Caribou which it turns out I do like) and waited roughly 40 minutes, making friends and getting footage of the store. Turns out some of the people we made friends with were friends of his and took him out to dinner afterwords! Mary joked that we should've made better friends :D But he eventually got there (Late, but he came directly off the plane and almost got kidnapped so we forgave him) Did a little speech about becoming a writer, read the prologue to us, and then took questions. Now, I came up with a question and didn't even think before I asked it, so then afterwards as he was answering I started vibrating from nervousness. Not that I asked him something wrong, just what he listened too aside from Lemony Snicket, because I already knew that he listened to that. It was funny, cause I think my question threw him off a tad. Turns out he used to listen to Enya, which I find amusing. Anyways after that he signed my book and Mary's bookmark, and actually pronounced my name right! Which was pretty awesome cause nobody has ever pronounced it right. Mary and I got a picture with him and then headed home!
Unfortunately on the way home I came down with some kind of flu and actualy had to take the next day off of school! We're joking that it was Swine Flu- I mean H1N1 virus. But that was kinda nasty.
And now I am done with my story and am going to go try and make this video work

A Clarification on my favorite geeks/nerds
Ok, so some know about my new love for Dr. Spencer Reid. I jokingly said I have betrayed my squirrels because I have a new geek love, this in no way means I no longer like McKay, just that there's a new order for all those brilliant goofy minds out there, so here's my new list.
1. Spencer Reid (Criminal Minds)
2. Dr. Rodney McKay/ David Hewlett (Stargate)
3. Charlie Eppes (Numb3rs)
4. Daniel Jackson (Stargate. Kind of a geek/nerd)
5. Abby (NCIS)
Ta da :-)

Dont expect much...
Don't expect much for blogging. I'm doing some extra school in preparation of NaNoWriMo in November, and its extremely unlikely you'll get any blogs that month. In fact if you want to catch me at all, then you might want to just keep and eye on my twitter which is twitter.com/stargatelvrorky for those of you LOSERS who are not on twitter, you can either just look in or you can get a twitter and FOLLOW ME!! I will offer a tutorial if you wish and recommend my favorite tweeters.
Now some of you may be thinking, "WTH is NaNoWriMo? Where did this come from?" Well, NaNoWriMo is National Novel Writing Month, and for all of November I will be attempting to write a 50,000 word Novel. So, I will have no time to write blogs. For those of you maybe interested in joining here is their site, with more info and signup http://www.nanowrimo.org/ if anyone does decided to join, add me as a buddie, kyaka.

D.C. Trip
Well, my D.C. trip was amazing!
We got up around 3 on Friday (Yes in the morning) picked up my Grandmother and headed off! We went through Chicago, which was kinda nervewracking with the traffic, but still pretty epic. And spent around 15 hours in the car to get to my Aunt and Uncle's house in Virginia. The time change was confusing, we got there are 8. I'm not sure if thats our time or theirs, lol.
Next day we got up early again (5:30 our time) to head to D.C. We took the rail (Metro whatever you want to call it) and it was PACKED with other marchers. Yes, that is why we were in D.C. If you watch mainstream media than you probably didn't hear much about the March. Well, there were 1.5 MILLION people there. It was packed, we had to wait in line at starbucks for over an hour just to use the bathroom. And coffee of course. (I got a really good doughnut too) When we finally got out, we headed straight into the actual March. Chants of USA rose around us more times than I can count, and it was very easy to get lost in the crowd.
We stayed until around 2 on the left Lawn of the capitol building. I have to admit to getting bored as many of the speakers were saying the same thing after 3 hours. Glenn Beck didn't make an appearance. Which apparently he said he wasn't going to, but I still hoped he would. After that we headed back to my aunt and uncle's house. The Rail was even more packed on our way back. We had to stand for over an hour and a half because of issues with the trains. There was actually talk of shutting them down because of all the people that were there.
I made a montage video of Friday and Saturday, which can be found here http://www.twitvid.com/A8176

A month later...
I know! Its been forever since my last post. But School started early cause of my D.C. trip last week. I was really hauling butt to get everything ready and done for that. There will be a uber long blogpost about that tomorrow. But a quick note about what happened during the month before that-
School started. Not so much fun there.
We got Bran Hambric #1 trending on Twitter! And I got my copy and read it. Review to come out on Sunday
I went to 6 flags again. Had lots of fun.
Found a way onto Dgeek, and have posted with the squirrels.
Went to SMPFilms Wedding
Got addicted to Criminal Minds (Especially Spence Reid. What can I say, I love the geeks :-)
Got a new Twitter background
Got called a RedNeck after defending Glenn Beck
My DVD Player got recalled because it tends to light on Fire.
Discovered Friday Night Cranks
Allergies have severely acted up
Reached 2000 tweets on Twitter
Saw the new "New Moon Trailer spoof" by EIP and fell in love with them yet again
Got DM'd by THE Shaun Holton of Projected Twin. You're jealous, you know it.
Now, if you follow me on twitter (Which most of you don't) then you would know at least some of this. So get on twitter people! twitter.com/stargatelvrorky

A review of Duality of Retribution
Today I am going to review Duality of Retribution. This is a movie by handicapped entertainment. I, like many others, found this movie because two of the Evil Iguana Productions actors are in this movie. One of which, Allen Murphy, is the star of the film. The second, Craig Deering is on of his victims.
Here is the trailer
WARNING: SPOILER ALERT
Now, there are a few different areas of covering this specific film. Either from a Story Standpoint, an Acting Standpoint, or a Quality of the actual production Standpoint. Each one of these on a very different level than the others.
From a Story Standpoint, this is not what it looks like in the trailer. In the trailer this appears to be a fast-paced action film, when in truth, it is a bit slow and a film that is designed to make you think. It is more Character Driven than Action. If you go watch it thinking that this is going to be like an EIP video, you are going to be disappointed. The story is about a person named Steve who essentially goes on this killing spree across his local neighborhood. Each of the people that he kills in some way or another insulted him, rejected him, or got him in trouble. After the first kill, he clearly feels upset by what he has done, but then goes out and kills again. This continues until he has killed five people and the film then ends. Then, during the credits, some kind of 911 call is placed that, to me, sounds like Steve’s mom coming home and finding that he’s killed himself. You can’t really understand most of this call aside from a few words and phrases including, “So much blood.... He’s not breathing.... He’s dead.... I just came home....” Then a lot of screaming bloody murder at the end. So, in some ways its original, but then in other ways it isn’t. It leaves a lot of open holes and lets you take what you want from it.
From an Acting Standpoint, I really have to say that this movie is fantastic! Especially when talking about Allen Murphy’s performance. He blew me away. I found that I sympathized with him, even though he was going around killing people for minor indiscretions against him. You can tell that this is a very dynamic character, and its one that I would have loved to see him do more wit; To find out if there was something that set this all off, or if he just snapped on his own. A few of his victims I was not impressed with their performance, especially his second victim. I found him to be fake, and he was just going on and on for no apparent reason. Craig’s performance was unfortunately not one of the best I have seen by him. Merely average, where as I have come to expect fantastic performances out of him. (I am an EIP fan because of his acting skills after all) So, all-in-all I thought the acting for the most part was good, or amazing (Or in one case, horrid unfortunately.)
Finally there is the actual Production of the movie. I’m pretty split on this aspect of it. I absolutely adore this score. It fits exactly where it should and definitely enhances the emotion of the movie. But then there are a few major camera issues. I can hear the camera operator moving his hand on the camera a lot. I actually see the camera operator’s shadow or reflection a few times. And then some of the shots are so close that I can barely see whats going on. Now, this might be intentional, but I personally do not like it. Then there are a few other things, like why is there never blood on the knife? And why don’t we ever see him stab anyone? Now I understand that this is a college film, and obviously, they can’t do all the cool stuff all the people in Hollywood can, but it still makes the film hard to focus on when you know he really isn’t stabbing them.
All in all I give this movie a 7.5/10 The acting is mostly superb, the story believable, but somewhat hard to understand, and the production average with a few issues.
So, here is the film as I saw it on google. What do you think?
Friday, August 14
For some reason I never get past day 3...
I wonder why? Anyways, I am heading to D.C.!!! September 11th through the 15th or 16th. We will be leaving on the 14th as I said, very early in the morning (Like 5 A.M.!!) and arriving about 15 or 16 hours later at my Aunt Sandey's house. On Saturday we're heading into D.C. for a march with Glen Beck (I don't have those details, yet) then on Sunday we'll be going to a few museums, including the smithsonian. I'll have to brush up on my McKay skills for that one. :D Monday we will leave my Aunt's and go to the beach, spend the night at a hotel and then on Tuesday we'll come back home! I promise to have lots of pictures and videos!
Now, I am watching season 7 of 24 right now. Only thing is that the last season I saw was season 5 leaving me kinda confused at certain points. I really like it though! Can't wait for the spoof that Evil Iguana Productions should be releasing eventually.
Speaking of EIP, apparently the music videos are fulling filmed and will come out sometime soon. I have seen pics and it looks insanely epic! They remind me why I love these guys ;-)
And Crash is coming along. I am now on my second notebook! Very exciting for me
Video of the blog post
Charles Trippy rocks! lol, the guy is hilarious when he isn't swearing.
Cheers!

FADE OUT
INT. PLACE WITH COUCHES AND TV- DAY
Two teens lounge on a couch, watching TV. Both wear Mountain Dew Shirts, and are drinking Mountain Dew.
DEW
Seriously when was the last time we had an assignment?
MOUNTAIN
37 days five hours and 28 minutes.
Dew gives mountain a funny look
MOUNTAIN
Or something like that.
Dew continues to stare at Mountain
MOUNTAIN
Hey look the news is on.
Dew continues to stare at Mountain for another moment before turning to look at the TV.
NEWS REPORTER
A group known only as the Y’s has claimed responsibility for the recent attack.
DEW
Wait, the Y’s? Didn’t we just get files on them?
Suddenly three file appear out of nowhere. Mountain/Dew pick them up and look at them. Mountain/Dew reacts to Files. They exchange looks.
DEW
This is it! This could be our big break, we just have to convince the Director. Nobody else has these files! We’ll finally have a mission again!
MOUNTAIN
Yeah, it’s been 37 days 5 hours and looks at watch 31 minutes.
DEW
Let’s go ask the Director!
There are three criminal profiles. Each one describes a separate member of the Y group.
EXT. THE CHURCH- DAY
MOUNTAIN
This is where the Director is?
DEW
He’s deep undercover, pretending to work here as a youth leader
Mountain nods seriously.
INT. CHURCH HALLWAY- CONT.
Mountain/Dew knock on a door.
SCOTTY
Password?
DEW
Beam me up Scotty.
SCOTTY
How do I know that you are not some terrorist who has kidnapped one of my agents and tortured the password out of them?
DEW
Well, you told me never to bring this up, but you like to wear this shirt that say’s-
SCOTTY
Alright you are who you say you are. Just don’t bring up my shirt. Or my mother. Or the fact that my mother is on that shirt. Pause you may enter.
He leaves the door cracked open. After a minute the Agents exchange a look and go in. We see a chair with the back to us. Scotty is in the chair.
INT. OFFICE- DAY- CONT.
SCOTTY
Sit.
Mountain Dew move to sit on the two chairs if front of the desk.
SCOTTY
Not those chairs.
They stop
SCOTTY
Those chairs.
Camera moves down to see two kid chairs. After exchanging a confused look Mountain/Dew sit down. An awkward beat. Then the chair turns around.
SCOTTY
Agent Mountain, Agent Dew. I havn’t seen the two of you in a long time. It must have been about a month or so ago, at the funeral.
Both agents look down at their feet.
SCOTTY
Yes. The funeral. It was such a shame to lose the twin sister of one of our best agents.
Mountain glances at Dew, who continues to look at the floor.
SCOTTY
So, what do you want?
MOUNTAIN
We would like to go on another mission.
SCOTTY
Yes I figured. I saw the news. It’s terrible isn’t it?
MOUNTAIN
Yes sir.
DEW
We have experience with these people sir. And I can tell you, nobody wants it more than I, I mean, we do.
SCOTTY
Perhaps.
DEW
Do you doubt that I want it?
SCOTTY
No. Just your level of experience
MOUNTAIN
Well we would have more experience if we had been given a mission in the last 37-
Dew Kicks Mountain to shut her up.
SCOTTY
Your answer is still no
MOUNTAIN
But-
SCOTTY
No. Now get out
DEW
We have the most-
SCOTTY
Stands up and looks meanacing Get out or I will throw you out.
Mountain/Dew get out.
DEW
How can he not put us on this assignment?
MOUNTAIN
So why don’t we do it?
DEW
Because we were told not to
MOUNTAIN
So?
DEW
You want to go haywire?
MOUNTAIN
I don’t see anything holding us back! We haven’t had a mission in 37 days!
DEW
And five hours-
MOUNTAIN
See! We can’t just wait. Soon this information won’t be any good.
DEW
and 57 minutes.
MOUNTAIN
We have to move now.
The two of them leave. Pan over to see Scott watching them. Scotty pulls out a cell phone.
SCOTTY
They’re on their way.
ROSALIE
Good. You will receive your package in two days.
SCOTTY
Are you sure this won’t trace back to me?
ROSALIE
It won’t. Neither one of them will survive.
SCOTTY
All right
INT. OFFICE WITH MANY COMPUTERS- DAY
Rosalie is at the computer. She has a headset on. There are two people in the room with her. Each is wearing a skimask.
ROSALIE
All right. They’re on their way
MARTINA
And the pizza?
ROSALIE
Also on its way
MARTINA
Excellent.
ROSALIE
They should be here in about ten minutes.
MARTINA
So, how many are dead?
ROSALIE
11.
MARTINA
Darn it! I wanted an even dozen.
Ninja is silent at the back of the room
ROSALIE
We’ll have to aim higher next time.
MARTINA
We could hit a Chuckie Cheese!
Ninja takes one step forward.
MARTINA
Oh, right, kids. Hmmmm….. What about a feminist TV station?
ROSALIE
Feminists sounds good.
They all nod. Then Rosalie’s computer beeps. She looks at it and types a bunch of things in.
ROSALIE
We have visual confirmation. They’re here.
MARTINA
Good. Ninja, you take the back. I’ll take the front. Rosalie, bring up the schematics.
Rosalie brings up a screen that shows a picture of the house.
ROSALIE
All right we’re good.
The other two start to head out
ROSALIE
Martina!
Martina turns around. Rosalie tosses her Martina’s phone.
ROSALIE
Stay in contact.
Martina nods. Rosalie puts on her headset and looks at the screen.
ROSALIE
And the Pizza should be here in about twenty.
EXT. DRIVEWAY- DAY
Agents. They get out of the car. They both take off their ID tags and throw them into the dirt.
DEW
You take the front. I’ll take the back.
The two of them split up. We follow Mountain as she takes the front.
EXT. FRONT DOOR- CONT. She pulls out a gun, and starts to open the door. Suddenly her gun is kicked out of her hand. She looks up to see Martina Y. A beat as the two exchange looks, then Mountain throws a punch at Martina Y. Martina easily dodges it, and then using Mountain’s momentum to throw her onto the ground. Martina then picks up Mountain’s gun and points it as her.
MARTINA
I could kill you now. But I’m going to save you for somebody else.
Martina takes the gun and whacks Mountain in the head with it. Rosalie looks at her screen and calls Martina. Martina answers.
ROSALIE
Ninja needs your help.
MARTINA
On it.
ROSALIE
And the pizza will be here soon.
MARTINA
Make sure no delivery person survives.
EXT. MY YARD AND AREA SURROUNDING IT
Martina runs around the house. We follow her and see her arrive just as Ninja is thrown to the ground. Dew turns and runs away. Martina runs past Ninja after Dew. Next we see several scenes of Martina Y, and Ninja chasing Dew.
Martina and Ninja stop and look around
MARTINA
Where is she?
Both are panting as they talk. Dew listening in behind a corner. Martina calls Rosalie.
MARTINA
Rosalie, where’s Dew?
MOUNTAIN
Rosalie can’t come to the phone right now. She’s a little tied up.
MARTINA
Who is this?
MOUNTAIN
Who do you think it is?
MARTINA
Mountain?
MOUNTAIN
No, Pepsi.
MARTINA
Oh, Pepsi!
MOUNTAIN
Shut up. I have your comrade, Rosalie. If you want her back, you’ll have to give me something in return.
MARTINA
I’m listening, but still confused, is this Pepsi, or Mountain?
MOUNTAIN
This is Mountain!
MARTINA
Right. What is it that you want?
MOUNTAIN
I want Ninja
Martina looks over at Ninja
MARTINA
Why?
MOUNTAIN
We have some, unfinished business.
MARTINA
Like what?
MOUNTAIN
Like, a pause, just stuff okay!
MARTINA
I’ll call you in a minute
Martina closes the phone
MARTINA
Mountain has Rosalie. She wants to trade her. For you.
Ninja stares at Martina for a minute. Then she does a ninja bow.
MARTINA
Why does she want you?
Ninja stares at Martina. Then Martina takes out her phone again.
MARTINA
All right, but seriously, what is it that you want with her?
MOUNTAIN
That is none of your business! Meet at the ditch in three hours.
Mountain closes the phone.
MARTINA
We’re meeting at the ditch in three hours
Ninja nods
MARTINA
But, the pizza will be delivered in a matter of minutes. With Rosalie out of commission, we’re going to have to take care of that ourselves.
INT. HALLWAY OF HOUSE- CONT.
They go back to the house and wait. The doorbell rings. Ninja answers it
PIZZA DELIVERY PERSON
Hi, I’ve got a pizza for-
Martina comes up behind Ninja shoots the delivery person Then she goes and picks up the pizza and looks inside.
MARTINA
They forgot the bacon again!
Martina then turns around and shoots the pizza person several times.
MARTINA
Argh!
EXT. THE DITCH- DAY
Flash forward to the meeting place. Mountain is already there. Rosalie is standing next to her, hands tied behind her back.
MOUNTAIN
Try anything and you die.
Then Ninja and Martina walk in, eating pizza.
MOUNTAIN
Where’d you get the pizza?
MARTINA
Do you really want to know?
MOUNTAIN
No, not really.
ROSALIE
Where’s mine?
MARTINA
We saved some for you. It’s back at the house.
MOUNTAIN
Enough! So, this is how it’s going to work. You will both put your weapons on the ground. Then Ninja and Rosalie will walk toward each other. If this doesn’t go smoothly, then I will not hesitate to shoot any of you.
DEW
And Neither will I.
Dew walks in with her gun pointed at Ninja and Martina
MARTINA
Oh Shiny.
Realizing that they are cornered they both raise their hands.
DEW
Kick your weapons over
They do
DEW
Get on the ground
They do. Dew Walks over to tie them up, but Ninja kicks her legs out from under her and then puts a knife to Dews throat. Martina calmly gets up.
MARTINA
I have a new proposition. Dew for Rosalie.
Before Mountain can respond Dew throws off Ninja and runs across to Mountain.
MOUNTAIN
I have another proposition, the same one as before.
A beat and then the two begin to walk forward. Very dramatic. Finally each is on the other side. Martina cuts Rosalie’s bonds and Ninja has a gun held to her head by Dew.
DEW
You can leave now.
The other two leave.
MOUNTAIN
Go.
DEW
What do you mean go?
MOUNTAIN
I have a score to settle.
DEW
Wait, this is-
MOUNTAIN
Yes! Now get out!
Dew leaves
Sequence that follows is done by Amelia and Lindsey. But it follows this basic outline,
MOUNTAIN
So, we meet again.
Ninja nods
MOUNTAIN
I suspect you want to kill me even more than I want to kill you.
Closeup on Ninja, who betrays little emotion
MOUNTAIN
You don’t talk much anymore. Perhaps that is because it was you talking that got him killed.
Ninja attacks, using her sais. After exchanging a few motions, their blades bring them face to face.
NINJA
My name is Mang xu xiang xing xu you kill (or kiss we have yet to decide) my brother, prepare to die!
They break apart. They fight some more, eventually Ninja kills Mountain. Then Ninja walks away. Pan over then to Dew who runs back over to Mountain. Dew freaks out that Mountain is dead. Dew then decides to take her revenge on Martina.
Next scene is done by Jennifer and Johanna, but follows this outline.
Dew comes running into the room and Martina is already waiting for her.
MARTINA
You have come to kill me.
DEW
Mountain is dead! My twin sister is dead! Soon, you’re going to join them.
They fight Dew loses. Martina then joins Ninja and Rosalie they eat pizza and everything ends.
CREDITS
Then we see Mountain get up.

End
and then a video

My second post of the day for good reason
Operation Puking Cow is officially canceled. This is because once school starts up there won't be time to do it. After 8 months and so many canceled dates, I'm done with the project. Not forever necessarily, but definitely for a while. I want to be able to focus on my other projects, especially my book. I know some people (Not many, but there were a few) wanted to see it, so I will have the script up in tomorrows blog. I'm sad to see this project go, but hopefully this will give me more time to focus on Crash.

An Epic Failure- Day 1 again
I know I know. I fail. Life got crazy. I lost four months worth of notes and tore the house looking for it. Finally found it (yey!) and then my little brother came home from his month-long stay with Brian, his father. (Yippe. Note my sarcasm) And, my most recent video got favorited by Evil Iguana Productions! (The one in my last blog post) So its been getting a ton of views recently. I have no idea how they found it, but they liked it!
A new video of behind the scenes from the Craig for Riley videos will be out either today or tomorrow. But here are the three episodes and trailer to keep you happy till then!

Day 2- New Twi-Con EIP spoof!!
It is FINALLY out. After months of waiting (Okay, like two but still it seemed like a really long time) I got to watch it. (Among the first few) Am already stealing it for my ipod. :-) So, here is my review
It was a tad slow, lots of what felt like "downtime" where nothing was really going on. Now, the acting was FANTASTIC. Again Craig blew me away with his performance. I really should be used to it by now, but again I couldn't help thinking- "That's Craig?" This wasn't nearly as bad as when I first saw the Dark Knight spoof and was certain that Craig being the Joker was a typo (No joke. haha no pun intended. Or was the pun intended?)
Anyway back on track, the audio is much different than everything else that I've seen by EIP. It sounds like it was recorded and then put it. No echoes or any background noise at all. Being really auditory, I had an issue with that.
The Jokes were good, although they sounded scripted, which is unusual for EIP. Maybe because they're almost always doing improv.
All in all, I laughed hysterically at some parts, and waited patiently over the others. Its not as insanely epic as some other videos, but it has still earned its place among my favorite Twilight videos.
So here it is, what's you opinion? Good, or Bad?

Gagh! Back to day one...
I missed yesterdays blog :-( Oh well, my current record is 3 days! Woo! lol.
So today I went to my granparents for my great-grandma's birthday. yippee... idk. Family really isn't my forte... that didn't come out quite right.
Anyways, afterwords I went to Barnes and Noble and started a book called "Gone" it was really good! I'm going to try and get my hands on it at the library tomorrow, along with Specials by Scott Westerfeld. I'm rereading the series since there's going to be a movie. (Soooo excited. But I'm going to be really critical of the movie probably lol)
Also mom's heading to the cabin till Wednesday. Nice, empty house. I will be writing, and working on a super secret project *laughs mischievously*
And todays video is an absolutely fantastic Stargate Atlantis fanvideo by Youtube user valika56

Day 3...
Woo! A record. lol. The true test will be if I can get one in on Sunday. I might have to get up early, as right after church I'm heading to my grandparents for the day... we shall see.
Now, Operation Puking Cow is being attempted... again. I want this over with already! I want all of the production out of the way so I can spend my time editing, making trailers, and messing around with a score. (I'm going to try. Not likely anything will come out of it, but I can try) But the big issue is schedualing. With a cast of 7 its a little hard. *sigh* I know now that I don't want to AD when I go into the buisness cause this is driving me crazy.
And today you are in luck! I have two videos for you. The first is a little behind the scenes ranting about lighting from yesterdays video. The second is Owl Cit's remix of hello seattle, which is becoming more and more addicting as I listen to it

Sooo...
Alright I am going to attempt the whole, "One Blog a day" Thing. I've made this my homepage to remind me, so I'll do my best.
Last night was the epic blogtv of Twicon. It was pretty awesome! They were only on for about 1 hour, and Jaden didn't show up except for about a minute to pick up Kaleb. (Lame) I got tons of fun screencaps including when we reached 500 viewers and Craig took his shirt off. (Woo! jk jk) Those will be up once I get my butt moving on it. We all know how Lazy I am. (Hence the neglect to this blog.)
And writing the book is coming along well. I've hit a bit of a road block, but I'm working around it. I did however realize that I've totally screwed up the compass in it. (They've been going north when they're really going south and such)
And my most recent video done for my mom

New video! Everyone say yey!
So, my sister Ryenn and I are planning a new video! And this is going to be something kinda new for me. We are planning on making a music video to the song "Fireflies" by Owl City (Which is the single of the week on Itunes so go get it while its free!) And we are also planning on taking it from a Christian prospective. Now, Owl city isn't exaclty a christian band (The guy who makes the music, Adam, is a Christian, but I wouldn't say that his music is worship music) but I came up with the idea yesterday and we're going to run with it.
The story of the video is that this girl (Ryenn) essentially "Puts God in a box" under her bed. She puts her Bible and Cross Necklace into the box. Then she can't sleep for sometime, and essentially her life doesn't go well. One night she finally gets up and starts to drive, obviously upset somehow. She stops in a random parking lot and puts her head on the wheel. When she looks up she realizes that she has driven to a church and she goes inside. She sits at a pew and after much thinking prays then goes back home, where she pulls the box back out and puts her cross necklace back on then goes to sleep.
So that's the basic story, so far. One of the constants of the video though (And this is the hard part) are the Fireflies. They're everywhere during the video. And my thoughts are that the Fireflies signify God, and how even when we "put him in a box" he's still there, even if we don't acknowledge him.

Its been far too long...
I know, nearly a month since my last post. I fail at life *hangs head in shame*
I've just been so incredibly busy. Especially with writing. Which I have to say I am absolutely loving right now! I'm not dragging my butt anymore! (Page 52!) Kaleb was done in 6 months, so I guess since I'm at 3 I at least have 3 more. :D
I've done a bunch of filming recently! Here are all the videos since my last post

A side project...
just for fun I'm going to mess with transferring Vampire Academy to a screenplay. I did this today
VA
EXT. DARK STREET
We are behind a tall man, who is behind a tree. He’s clouded in shadow, but we can tattoos on his neck. He’s looking at a window with a cat sitting in it.
INT. BEDROOM
Two girls are sleeping in twin beds opposite each other. One has light blond hair, while the other has a brown so dark it looks black in the dim lighting. A cat sits on the windowsill. Each of the girls are contorted in identical forms, and similar looks of fear are on their faces.
EXT. CAR CRASH SCENE
There are flashes of smoke and twisted metal. The blond is struggling with a seat belt in the twisted wreck. The brunette is on the ground, covered in blood, with her arm at an obviously broken angle.
LISSA
Rose!
The brunette, rose, doesn’t move. The brunette continues to struggle, there are bodies around her. Her parents and brother, obvious from the light blonde hair that they all share. The blonde continues to struggle, shouting the other girls name.
We pan over to see Rose standing a few feet away from the blond. But the blond doesn’t appear to see her, instead she continues to scream.
INT. BEDROOM
SUDDENLY Rose wakes. The blond across from her is screaming. Rose runs over to her and shakes her.
ROSE
Lissa. Wake up.
Lissa stops screaming but doesn’t open her eyes.
LISSA
Andre, Oh god.
Rose continues to shake her, but more gently now.
ROSE
Lissa you aren’t there anymore. Wake up.
Lissa opens her eyes and looks at Rose. She starts to cry. Rose hugs her.
ROSE
Its okay. Everything is okay.
LISSA
I had that dream again.
ROSE
I know. I saw.
Lissa stops crying and looks up at Rose.
LISSA
I thought we agreed you’d stay out of my head.
ROSE
Kinda hard for me to when you get so emotional while we’re both sleeping.
Lissa looks slightly shamefaced
LISSA
I’m Sorry.
ROSE
Don’t be. You can’t help it either.

Oh yeah
Been gone sorry.
Filming was canceled due to unforseable circumstances. No idea when we're filming again. But, I do have a video of preprodution meetings and such
Also, work on my "What have you done- Twilight" fanvideo will commence soon! It might take a while, especially for me to find all the clips I need. I suspect it will take roughly a week or two because podcast recording is tomorrow.
S' all for now

Kaleb's death scene
Please take into account that this is the rough, rough draft. There are many mistakes, and a few bits are missing or don't quite make sense.
Kaleb’s Death- Somewhere in the middle, probably around chapter 9 or 10
“We need water.” I said to everyone that night at the usual meeting around the fire, “We have enough for about two or maybe three more days if we stretch it.. So, tomorrow I need a few people to go with me to find some.”
The nine, well eight of them exchanged glances, Suzanna was painting her nails and not paying any attention, still glowering about our little spat earlier.
“Caroline obviously can’t come.” I said, and I didn’t want to take Vicky or Daley, both of them being still somewhat unstable. Nathan stuck to Daley like glue, leaving him out. That left Ink, Craig, Kaleb, and Suzanna.
“I’ll go.” Ink raised her hand. No real surprise there.
“I told Jared I would help him tomorrow.” Craig informed me. I nodded to show that that was an expectable excuse.
That left Kaleb and Suzanna.
“You know there’s really no reason for you to go. The resque planes will be here soon.” Suzanna said without looking up from her hands
I gritted my teeth as she continued, “It will only make it harder for them to find you when they come. I’m certainly not going.”
It took most of the patience I had to say in an even voice, “Nobody asked you to go Suzanna.” It took the rest of my patience not to say that she could try waiting a few more days for the planes and then see if getting water was so pointless then.
“Well who else is there?” She put in, “None of you kids can possibly handle it.”
“I’ll go.” Kaleb interrupted, throwing a glance at her that clearly read, ‘Please shut up’
“Well fine. Someone needs to stay here and make sure things run smoothly anway.” Suzanna said haughtily.
I ignored the last comment, “You sure Kaleb? We might be gone for more than a day.”
He glanced again at Suzanna, “Definitely.”
“Okay. We’ll head out after breakfast.”
The next morning the three of us headed out, it was agreed that we would walk westward along the shore.
At first we didn’t really talk much, just walked along the beach, but then the beach ran out. It turned into grass and the grass began to go uphill. We agreed to continue on, “So, Kaleb. How did you end up going on this trip?” I asked in an attempt to make conversation.
He shrugged, “Same way as everyone else I guess. Found the program online, applied and six weeks later got a letter in the mail.”
I thought for a minute that all conversation was going to end there, but then he continued, “What about you guys?”
I shrugged, “Same thing. Ink and I applied together.” I didn’t mention my sister, not wanting to open that can of tears.
Ink let it slide.
After another two hours we began to get discouraged. We sat down and ate and then continued on.
“You know, it would be just our luck that there was water to the East.” Ink said as we trudged forward, the land was really sloping upward now.
“That’s nice Ink, let’s look at the bright side of things.” I teased lightly.
“On the bright side, we’re getting plenty of exercise.” Kaleb put in, panting slightly.
I laughed. “I knew I’d like you.”
We continued on, the sun now started to shine in our faces as we continued west. I checked my watch, 1 o’clock. “Guys, much farther and it won’t even be worth it.” I said, we’d already gone through an entire bottle.
“Give it another hour.” Kaleb said.
Five of walking, not to mention on the way back we would be carrying filled bottles. We were going to be exausted when we got back.
But then, ten minutes later I heard a sound that we’d been searching for, rushing water.
Kaleb and Ink heard it to, and we ran forward excitedly. Two minutes later we saw it, a fairly large rushing river.
Yes!” Ink and I hi-fived each other, and then Kaleb help up both of his hands and we slapped them.
“All right, first things first.” I said suddenly serious, “We drink!”
The three of us stooped at the edge of the river near the edge, the water was cool and deliciously fresh. Those things about “Natural Spring water” didn’t even come close.
I didn’t like the look of the current though, flying just a few feet in front of us, “I don’t think going into the water would be a good idea.” I said, sitting up to see Ink drinking next to me. “Kaleb?” I looked to my right and saw him walking out on a rock ledge the lead out to the middle of the river.
“Careful!” I called.
Suddenly a CRACK erupted through the sounds of the water. He froze as the ledge wobbled.
I stood up, a foot into the water, “Kaleb!” I yelled, “Get back over here” but he didn’t move. Next to me Ink yelled his name again.
He slowly looked up at me, I held his eyes for a split second, that’s when I knew. Somehow a second before the rock shattered I knew. So did he.
A second after he fell into the raging current I dove in after him. Within seconds the current was pulling me too, towards the cliffs and the inevitable waterfall.
The current tugged and twisted me, but I didn’t fight against it. I let is pull me and I desperately searched for Kaleb. But I was moving so fast. I saw that the edge was only thirty feet away.
Crap- I was moving too fast, and I wasn’t sure I could break the current. Suddenly I saw a plaid shirt just a few feet ahead of me. Kaleb. I surged forward and grabbed him.
Then I was falling. But only for a second. I hit the water, tugging Kaleb along with me, unconscious. I was pushed several feet under by the water fall. I kicked with all my might to get out from under it. A small voice in my head told me this would be a lot easier if I would let go, but I refused. Stubbornly I kicked along till finally the enourmas pressure was gone.
I surged upward and inhaled, the air feeling sweet against my burning lungs. After taking a few breaths I lay on my back and heaved Kaleb up so that I had my arm holding him securely across his chest.
“Jodi!” I heard Ink yell. I looked up to see her worried face about ten feet above me at the top of the fall. “We’re good!” I yelled.
The pool of water that I was in now turned out to be on another ledge just ten feet below the top. I looked around and spotted one problem, “Ink is there any land?” I called up to her.
She pointed East. “There’s a bit over there. Its not very big though.”
“That’s okay!” then I began to swim over.
Ink walked along the edge, keeping pace with me, “How’s Kaleb?” She asked
“Unconscious!” I yelled back. I think my ears are waterlogged, I seemed to be yelling a lot.
“He doesn’t look like he’s breathing.”
That made me stop. Was he breathing? I didn’t feel his chest moving at all.. I treaded water and checked.
He wasn’t.
“No.” I started pulling back towards spot. I couldn’t help him while still in the water, “Come on Kaleb. Come on you have to breathe.” I said to him.
Ink was that I was now going double time towards the land. She seemed to understand now.
“Oh my god. Jodi!” She screamed
I didn’t say anything didn’t waste any breath one answering her. I could see the spot now.
I reached the ledge and pushed Kaleb up onto it before heaving myself out of the water.
Small to say the least. We had about four feet of space before it the edge. I tried to remember what we’d been taught about CPR.
“head back.” I muttered to my self.. But when I tilted his head back I froze. “What the-” I felt the back of his head.
Then I turned and threw up into the canyon on the other side of the landleadge
“Jodi! Are you okay?” Ink screamed again, helpless twenty feet above me. But I was still coughing up was seemed like a never ending stream of water.
After a minute I turned and wiped my mouth with the back of my sleeve. “He’s dead.” I choked out.
“What do you mean? You havn’t even tried-”
I cut her off, “The back of his skull,” I paused trying to dislodge the way his head had felt to my fingers, “It got smashed somehow.”
“What do you mean?”
“I mean Ink. That he’s dead. There’s nothing I can do.” Saying it outloud stung wildly.
She sank to her knees, not making any noise now. I stared at Kaleb’s face, you couldn’t even see it from this angle. Looked like he was sleeping…
We both sat there for a minute, unable to say anything. I heard Ink crying and then my brain snapped into the right mode.
I stood carefully, picking my way carefully along the ledge till I was a few feet away from the rock wall that would go back up to Ink.
It was slick, there was literally nothing to hold onto to try and climb it. Great, “Ink.” I called up to her.
She leaned forward to see me better, “Yeah?”
“Ink I can’t climb up the wall. Your going to have to go back and get help, and rope.”
She shook her head like I had expected her to. “No. I can’t leave you-”
“You have to. There’s no way for me to climb up Ink. Especially with-” I cut that, not wanting to say it, “just go and get help. Get Jared and Craig.”
Ink shook her head and started to cry again, “Jodi I can’t. Not by myself.”
“Yes you can. All you have to do is walk. Grab some of the full bottles and start walking.” I tried to show her the way I thought, how to just do it.
She stood and walked out of my sight range, I backed up, so that I could see her. She grabbed her bag and mine and gathered up the bottles, weather they were full or not and put them all into her pack. Kaleb’s sat near the now broken rock ledge. She left it.
She leaned over the edge, “Here!”
I took a few steps forward and caught my pack seconds after she dropped it. “Thanks. Now go!”

Book writing- Kaleb's death scene
Well, I managed to get through the dramatic drowning of Kaleb State last night. Yes, Kaleb State is based on Kaleb Nation. I'll post it when I actually put it on the computer, as the scene is hiding in my notebook for now. I actually upset myself when I finished, lol. I think it turned out really well though.
Also, filming might be postponed, but if it is, then I will be able to see Ink Lasts Longer!!!!! Its only five buck for a ticket, and they'll be a little over an hour away. Never thought I'd be happy that filming might be canceled. :)
S' all for now

just a short snippet
Here is (And I quote) a little conversation that my sister had with her dad this morning, after he'd been goofing off and such.
Ryenn- You know you're full of it
TP- Full of what?
Ryenn- Well it rhymes with it
Yes, this is Ryenn the girl with stuffed animals littering her bed, and screamed, "No CRAIG" when he pretended to fall out of a window. Cute, little Ryenn. I laughed SO hard.
Also, choreopgrahing on the 30th, not including my stuff on the 23rd. (I'm enacting all the shots and setting up lighting and such) filming might have to be postponed from the 5th-6th due to someone being busy. I won't say any names.
Bright side of that is that I might be able to go see Ink Lasts Longer then!! They're performing about an hour or so away that night.

Book Outline
Yup. I've been busy. Here is a sneak peak for all of you
Outline as of 4-30-09/5-11-09
Jodi, Ink, and Jared were all together on a plane to Asia to go mountain climbing/camping with a group of twenty-seven other kids and three adult leaders. They ranged from 13-17. They’re all students from the Chicago area. It took roughly four months of preparation classes and fundraising for them to be able to go. Within a few hours they experience turbulence and go down
They crashed into a small Island, with only 12 people out of the 37 people aboard. Within a day, two of them die of injuries. Leaving ten left.
At first everyone just focuses on being rescued, but after a week, they realize that it might not happen.
Most of the equipment and food survived, which meant that they have enough food for six weeks. However they weren’t prepared for tropical conditions, they were prepared for snow and climbing. So, first things are to get everything set up.
After that they have a meeting on how they are going to get home. Jared brings out the GPS that he’s fixed and breaks the news that they are on an island that shouldn’t exist. He tells them that he thinks that he can reverse engineer the GPS to send out a signal, but it will take time.
A few days later another problem arises, they are running out of water. They didn’t bring much, because you can just melt snow for water.
Storyline B: The flight attendant, Suzanne has been a pain. She thinks that being the adult she should be in charge of everything. But she really isn’t helping
Its agreed that because the flight attendant is the adult she should go with, but she argues and refuses. Annoyed, Kaleb volunteers to take her place. However on their quest for water, Kaleb falls and dies.
When the kids get back to the camp, people at first are glad that there was water, but then fall when they see the body. Suzanna looks stunned. Jodi slaps her. After this, Suzanna doesn’t bother anyone, but she doesn’t do anything either. Nobody bothers to do anything about it.
A pattern develops where people go back and forth to get the water until everything is full. Jodi and Ink start to explore the rainforest, taking someone else with them everyday. They find banana and coconut trees, along with other various fruits. Its decided that they’ll incorporate this into their regular food to try and save more of the regular food.
As the pattern continues, people start to get anxious. Jared is rarely seen, because he’s always working on the GPS. After another week, Jodi makes him come out and take a break. They have a good talk, but when they come back to the beach people get angry at him for leaving.
Jodi tries to defend him, but Jared snaps. He yells at everyone that he can’t do it.
Despair follows. People don’t know what to do. And Neither does Jodi for a while. Then Suzanna stands up and talks. She encourages them to start again
They develop a new plan. Get off. Its plain now that no one is coming. So they build a boat, possibly out of stuff from the plane, which they still are using for something. I don’t know what. Name for the plane?
They stop eating the real food because they know it will last longer on the boat. Instead they eat only the stuff from the island. Name the island?
Jared at this point has been outcast, nobody talks about what he did, or rather didn’t do. And it isn’t that they will no longer accept him, but rather that he won’t accept the fact that he failed everyone.
Jodi doesn’t know what to do with it, so she convinces herself that she’ll figure it out by the time they are ready to leave. But when that time comes, she still doesn’t have the words.
After a bad confrontation she takes a walk where she gets lost. Jared comes and find her, they make a pact to help each other, a little predictable, but what can you do?
Two days later they leave.
They spend four days on the water before a storm approaches. It takes a few hours for it to get there, but the storm rages across the tiny boat, tearing it to shreds.
Unsure amount of time later, Jodi wakes on a piece of driftwood with Jared necklace in her hand. She sees land, but it too tired to do anything, she drifts out of consciousness.
Someone yelling her name wakes her up. It’s Ink with Suzanna along with a bunch of locals. She’s rescued.
A week later she is back on a plane. They are going to the island to gather equipment, and take the families to the graves.
Jodi sneaks away to the cave and find Jared. Happy reunion. Then they go back to the group and leave the island.
