Explaining of the Operation: Puking cow

So, here is the explanation of where exactly Operation: Puking cow came from,

We (The puking cow group) were going to snow camp. We all got into one of the vans for the 5 hour trip up to the camp. Well, we decided to play a game, where you go around in a circle and make up a story by each person saying a sentence. We ended up with a really bizarre story where the Puking cows would not die!

Anyway, after that, we got to camp... and we decided to make a movie. But it was supposed to be secret, so we called it Operation: Puking Cow.

Characterization

Because we are doing a short comedy, all of the characters are flat, but I am thoroughly enjoying a show called Numb3rs right now, and when asked why I was so into this show, I thought for a bit and gave the answer, "The Character moments" The characters.

Don, Alan, Amita, Larry, Megan, David, Colby, and of course, Charlie. All of these characters seem so real. You can tell that off-camera they really like each other. There's an instant chemistry between the Eppes men especially from episode 1. Every episode, I don't focus on the case, I focus on how Don, and Charlie react to both it, and each other. Then I focus on the case. I don't rewatch it because I want to see them catch the bad guy, I rewatch to see Charlie freeze when his math got his brother shot. And when Don realizes how much he really loves his brother. Or Alan teaching Charlie how to play golf. Amita and Charlie in the car together. Larry and his constant moving around. Megan and her issues with her father. Colby turning out to be a bad guy, and then becoming a triple. David's reaction to being betrayed by Colby. This is why I watch Numb3rs.

Still no luck

Due to my getting tickes to see Cirqu Du Solei, we can't film on out intended date anymore. Sorry guys! But, on the plus side, I finally got my camera! I'm thoroughly enjoying playing around with it, and learning how to use it. So, when we film in a few weeks, or months possible, I will have thorough knowlage of how to use it!

Explain!

So, I am starting a blog about being a young filmaker. As you can probably tell. :) I am a 15 year old beginning filmaker, currently working on my first film. Or short, I guess, because it will probably end up being a short. Its called Operation: Puking Cow. No, you don't want to know how that started. Honestly, I'm not entirely sure where it came from. But it started as a joke among my friends and I and became the working title of our movie! The script is currently ten pages long, with two major fight scenes in it. I am directing, co-producing, choreographing, and editing! A long list of things I know. We've been at it for a month. The script is mostly done, one fight sequence is choreographed and we have yet to start filming! Mostly due to timing, and unavailability of location. In fact our old location is no longer available, so we are searching for a new one!

That's all for my first post!
