Experiment part 4

The Teaser from Serenity The Pilot

Again, while watching Firelfy I thought that there was more to what was going on than was being said. So I "novelized" most of the teaser from Firefly's pilot from Malcolms point of view

Captain Malcolm Reynolds was in space. This wasn’t anything new, him being in space, seeing as his current residence was in fact a spaceship, but right now, he wasn’t in the ship. He was in a spacesuit.

There is a big difference. For one, when you’re on a ship, you don’t have to worry so much bout’ floating away from whatever it is your standing, or rather floating, on. And at the moment, he was standing/floating on an abandoned ship with what would hopefully turn out to be a very shiny cargo. He was just waiting for the door to open.

As he waited he could hear Zoe and Jayne breathing heavily next to him. The three of them were all focused on one thing. The door. Funny how such a thing could mean so much. If it flew out, then it meant that the cargo would be there. If it just floated there when it opened, then the cargo might be there, but probably damaged. Then Badger would heap a whole lot of trouble on Malcolm and his crew.

But this time, they got lucky. The door suddenly flew away from the metal hull. Zoe read Malcolm’s mind as she spoke “Full pressure. The goods should be intact.”

Jayne moved forward and shoved the rest of the door aside, Malcolm watched over Jayne’s shoulder, shining a light into the hole. Sure enough there they were. Three metal crates, each one looking right pretty there. Almost like they had been waiting just for this crew to come and take them out of the black. Things were looking good.

But then Wash’s slightly panicked voice came over their headsets, “We have incoming! Alliance cruiser, bearing right down on us!” Typical

Malcolm swore in Chinese, “F**k me blind!” Then, reverting back to English, “Have they spotted us?”

Wash stumbled over his words, “I can’t tell if-”

“Have they hailed us?” Malcolm demanded. It was always near impossible to get a straight answer out of that man if you didn’t ask the right questions.

“If they're here for the salvage, we're humped.” Jayne growled, his mind on the money. Which was one of the only two places his mind could go.

“They find us at all we’re humped.” Zoe argued “Think they’re going to just let-”

Again Malcolm spoke in Chinese, “Shut up.” Then he ordered Wash in English, “Shut it down. Now. Everything but the air.”

If they didn’t give off an energy signature maybe, just maybe, their luck would hold, and they wouldn’t be spotted.

“Shutting down.” Wash confirmed. Then he dropped the radio. Presumably to talk to Kaylee who was the only other person on the ship with him.

Malcolm started looking for the cruiser, wanting to see the ship before it was him at the very least. There was nothing in the space he could see.

But then there it was. Green light erupted from the side of a twisted metal wall, and Malcolm couldn’t help the cold shiver that ran down his spine from the look of it.

This that was immediately replaced by an angry burning in the pit of his stomach. Rage that never went away, despite the six years that had passed. It was always in the back of his mind, but times like these, when the Alliance showed up in places he didn’t like, it shot to the front of his mind.

After a minute of staring at the gorram ship Malcolm asked, “Wash, They slowing down?”

“That’s a neg. Don't think they're interested in us. We should be eating wake in a minute or two.” Wash’s voice was calmer now, letting Malcolm relax a small bit.

Zoe and Jayne both glances at Malcolm at this. He continued to stare intently at the Cruiser. Jayne turned his attention back to the goods, while Zoe continued to look back and forth between Malcolm and the Allaince Ship.

She too felt a burning in her stomach, but not one nearly so bad as Malcolm’s. The Ship reflected off of the glass that protected him from the space around them. And she could see the memories flashing in his eyes as he looked at the ship. The same ones were flashing in her head.

They waited for what seemed like an eternity. The ship slowly passed them, but just as they let themselves how that they were going to get away from this clean Wash swore in Chinese, “Sh*t on my head!” Then reverting back to angry English, “Captain we’re humped!”

Instantly, with a strange calm that came only from past experience Malcolm took charge “Fire it up! Now!” Then he turned to his two teammates “We move these in, double-time!”

He floated to the crates and pulled the three of them out. Handing one to Zoe and Jayne he jumped up and started floating back on home.

As he, Zoe, and Jayne did so. They saw Serenity come to life. She lurched upward a few feet, and lit up like a Christmas tree from earth-that-was. Except for her tail, which Malcolm knew would take a bit longer to light up.

“Cry baby Cry.” Malcolm said, eyes on the airlock.

“Make your mother sigh. Engaging the CryBaby.” Wash came over their headsets.

And not to far away, behind a degrading moon, what looked like an oil drum with the words ‘Cry Baby’ lit up. It started broadcasting a signal that would hopefully make the Alliance go away, if not distract them long enough that Serenity could get away.

Malcolm, Zoe and Jayne all floated their crates past the twisted wreckage and into the airlock. Malcolm hit a button to make the door shut, and the gravity turn on. The three people, and each of their crates came down on the floor with a loud smash! Malcolm made a mental note to talk to Kaylee about making the gravity come on a bit slower.

“Wash! We're on! Go!” Malcolm shouted into his helmet.

Then he felt Serenity as she pushed away from the wreckage. Her tail lit finally up and she started to move, “Hang on Travelers.” Wash said to everyone as the three pulled helmets off their spacesuits.

“Let's moon 'em.” Jayne grinned, as Serenity finally pushed forward with a great flash from her rear.

They waited a second before opening the door to the airlock into the cargo bay of Serenity. Malcolm and Zoe had taken a few steps forward when Wash’s voice came from over the intercom

“We look Shiny Captain. They are not, repeat, not coming about.”

“Close one.” Zoe panted, walking with Malcolm out of the airlock, hair sticking to her face with sweat.

”Any one you walk away from, right?” Zoe and Malcolm turned to look at Jayne, who was pulling one of the crates out of the airlock “Long as we got the goods, I call this a win.”

Malcolm turned away and started heading to his room, “Right.” He frowned, thinking again about the Alliance and feeling his stomach burn, “We win.”

Experiment part 3

A person to die for- All parts

A/N I've never written a Numb3rs fanfic, but I read a few good Character deaths, and wanted to throw in my own. This was written in about two hours, so I apologize in advance for spelling errors and such. I spell like Charlie. *Big Grin* Also, any and all feedback is appreciated

Disclaimer- I don’t own these Characters. I only subjected them to the most painful thing I could think of…. JK JK.

Don had always been prepared for his own death. It came with the territory. He had a will written, he knew how he wanted his funeral to go. He’d always suspected that he would be the first Eppes man to die. He was prepared, and at peace with that.

But even FBI agent Don Eppes hadn’t been prepared for what had happened today.

It had started out like an ordinary day. Get up. Get dressed. He had the day off, so he’d missed Charlie that morning. Charlie had an early seminar, and Don had promised to meet him for lunch later.

But they never got to lunch.

At 9:37 Don got a call on his phone about a school shooting, with two professors being held hostage. When he asked what school, he nearly dropped the phone. CalSci. They didn’t know which two professors, only that one was a mathematician, and one was a physics professor.

Don didn’t have to think twice about which two professors it had to be.

When Don got there, David and Megan were already on sight.

“What happened?” He asked

“A kid by the name of Nate Gromi came into the school with three guns. Fired about seven times, hit four students, and killed one. Then, he barricaded himself in one of the labs with.” David hesitated, “With Charlie and Larry.”

Don took a deep breath, trying to remain calm. “Do we know why?” he asked tersely.

Megan came forward then, “Judging from his file. I would say anger. Nate was a B student, majoring in Physics. Until he got kicked out. Money problems. All of his checks were bouncing, and his credit cards were maxed out. He was behind on a semesters worth of class payments.” She shook her head and then glanced up at the window.

Don followed her gaze and saw a kid looking through the blinds. Seeing them looking at him, Nate pulled away from the window.

Don gritted his teeth. “Have you made any contact with him?”

Megan shook her head. “We’ve called the room twice, but he refuses to answer the phone.”

“Okay, well let me try.” Don called the room.

It rang three times before the kid answered, “Hello?”

“Hello. Nate?”

“Yes.”

“I’m Agent Don Eppes.”

That got the kids attention, “Eppes?”

“Yeah. You’ve got my brother Charlie up there.”

“He’s one of them! He’s one of the professors who ruined my life!”

“Whoa, Whoa, Whoa! Just wait a minute.” Don said loudly into the phone, he didn’t like where this was going. “How is this Charlie’s fault?”

“He was one of my professors!”

“But that doesn’t make it his fault.” Don argued, “Listen Nate. Why don’t you just come out, and we can talk about this? There’s all sort of solutions for this, there’s financial aid, scholarships-”

“No. Nobody can help me. I know what’s going to happen after this. I’m going to jail. I have no future. The only thing I can do is try and take down the people who got me here.”

“No!” Yelled Don, but it was too late. Nate had already hung up. “Move in!” Don yelled at the team.

Then, without even putting on a vest, Don ran into the building. But not fast enough. Two gunshots echoed throughout the campus before Don kicked down the door and burst into the room.

Just in time to see Charlie fall. Time seemed to slow down to a crawl. Charlie had a slightly surprised look on his face, and he fell backwards onto the white tile floor. Blood staining his shirt.

“Charlie!” Don yelled, instantly heading towards his fallen brother, not even looking at Nate, who was still standing with the gun pointed at Charlie.

Then the gun switched targets. It went from one brother, to another.

Another shot echoed on the campus. This time, it went straight through Don’s temple.

Don hadn’t been prepared to die in front of his brother.

Two Days Later

Alan sat next to a hospital bed, watching his youngest son sleep. Charlie had finally stabilized, after two days of touch and go, the doctors could safely say that he would be fine.

Physically anyway. Emotionally would be an entirely different story. Alan still wasn’t sure how he was going to break the news to Charlie. Partially because, he still hadn’t accepted it himself.

Seconds after the third bullet had gone through Don’s head, the rest of his team had gotton into the room. Realizing what he had done, Nate then put the gun to his own head. Larry was the only one left. Cowering a few feet away from Charlie.

Medical assistance came in right away, and began to work on Charlie. They got him to a hospital in record time.

Don was left in the room.

When Don’s team realized that he was dead, they moved on to Charlie. Then when Charlie was sent to the hospital, they stopped.

Megan just sat next to Larry and cried. David sat in a lab chair, completely stunned. Nobody even bothered to look at Nate.

Megan broke the news to Alan. He had been surprisingly strong throughout the past two days. Constantly telling the Doctors to just do their jobs. Comforting Megan, Larry, Amita, and David. He’d known that there was a good chance that Don would die while working for the FBI. Don had talked to him about it. Told him that as long as it was to save somebody good, Don would be at peace with it.

Alan was pretty sure that Charlie was the best person that Don could have died for.

The Person to die for. Part 2

A/N Due to popularity, this is part 2 of a person to die for. I honestly didn’t expect such a positive response, so thank you for all your reviews. I expect this to fold into a four part series, now that I’m taking the time to write everybody else’s reactions. So, thank you for all your reviews and feedback! Please send more!

Disclaimer: I don’t own any of the characters of Numb3rs, but I think about them all the time. :D

Alan left his son’s hospital room to grab a coffee. He glanced at his watch. It was 10:04 in the morning. Exactly two days after Don had been shot. Even though Alan hadn’t been there, he’d heard Megan talking about the sound of that third shot. How it echoed in her mind.

It echoed in Alan’s too.

Larry was asleep in one of the plastic chairs outside of Charlie’s room. Megan was leaning on him, not sleeping, just, leaning. Alan stopped next to her, and set his hand on her shoulder.

“It’s 10:04.” She whispered. Then she shut her eyes, hearing the same loud bang as Alan.

“Two days.” Alan said quietly.

“Is that all?” Asked Megan, eyes still shut, “It feels so much longer than that.”

Alan nodded. He knew the feeling. The first week after his wife died, he could have sworn an entire lifetime had gone by. He gave Megan’s shoulder a small squeeze before heading back into Charlie’s room.

For the millionth time, Alan took in the sight of his sleeping son. Wild curly hair all over the place, white gauze just barely visible from under the blanket that covered him. After a minute, Alan went back to the chair next to Charlie’s bed, cradled his styrofoam cup, and waited.

Two hours later.

Charlie opened his eyes to an unfamiliar ceiling. He tried to sit up, but stopped at a sharp pain in his chest. He let out a small gasp

“Charlie?” Charlie turned his head towards the voice.

“Dad?”

The big man let out a long sigh of relief, “Yes.”

Charlie struggled for a moment, “Where am I?”

“The hospital.”

Charlie looked confused, “How did I get here?”

Alan frowned, “Charlie, what’s the last thing you remember?” he asked cautiously.

Charlie tried to concentrate, and then put his hand to his forhead, “Umm… Going to bed last night.”

“Last night, as in Monday night?’ Alan clarified.

“Well yeah Monday night.”

“Charlie, its Thursday.”

“Oh.”

“You don’t remember anything about Tuesday?”

Charlie shook his head. “Dad, what happened Tuesday? And what happened to my chest? It hurts.”

“You’re in pain?” Alan grabbed onto the topic, trying to buy time to think.

“Well, a bit, but dad-” before Charlie could tell him that all he wanted was to know what was going on, Alan walked into the hallway.

“Can I get a nurse in here please?” He called

“Dad, what is going on?” Charlie asked.

“Just a minute,”

Larry burst in then, “What happened?” seeing Charlie up he speed over to the bed, “Charles.” Larry then bent down and hugged Charlie.

An awkward moment passed before Charlie spoke, “Larry, I uh,” he paused for a moment, “I know that something traumatic has happened, but could you please get off me?”

Larry didn’t move.

“Seriously Larry, could you get off please.”

“I’m sorry Charles, this is all my fault.” Larry was rambling, he’d barely spoken in the past two days, now he seemed determined to spill everything now, “Nate was my student.”

“Wait, Nate? Nate who?” Charlie tried to interrupt Larry, but to no avail.

“If I had tried to help him then none of this would have happened. You wouldn’t have been shot, that other student, Paul Beckett would be alive.”

“Wait, I got shot by Nate?”

Larry then dropped the bomb that Alan had been trying to avoid “Don would be alive-”

Charlie was stunned into silence. Megan tried to pull him away, “Larry.”

“Its all my fault.” Larry was falling apart. He finally went with Megan, after murmuring “My fault” a few more times.

Alan focused on Charlie, who’s mouth had fallen open. “Charlie-”

Charlie turned his head to look at his father, “Don-” he swallowed dryly, “Don’s dead?”

A/N- Part 4 will be a separate story, because of the way parts 2/3 flow together. Again thank you for all the feedback! Part four will be posted within the next week.

Disclaimer- I do not own these characters. However, I still write about them.

Alan looked at Charlie’s face. It said, “Please tell me that Larry has just gone crazy. Please tell me that Don’s alive.” But Alan couldn’t tell him that.

“Yes, Charlie. Donny’s dead.”

Charlie took in a big breath and looked at the ceiling. “How?” his voiced cracked slightly as he held back tears.

Alan sat back into his chair, “Tuesday morning, a kid named Nate Gromi came in, shot four kids, killed another, and then took you and Larry hostage. He shot you, and then when Don came into the room, he shot him.”

“He died to save me?” Charlie squeezed his eyes shut as tears began to slide down his face.

“This is not your fault Charlie.” Alan quickly inserted

“That’s not what I asked.”

Alan thought for a moment, searching for the right words. “He died, trying to save his little brother, and his best friend. And he succeeded.” He hoped those were the right words. He was never entirely sure what to say to Charlie when trying to comfort him. His wife always did, she knew how his mind worked, but Alan never did quite get Charlie.

Charlie opened his eyes, “I have to get out.” He said. Then Charlie pushed himself up, grimacing at the pain. “I, I have to go and and” Charlie shook his head, and attempted to climb out of bed.

This was not the reaction that Alan had expected. He got up, and pushed his son back onto the bed, careful not to push on his chest. “Charlie, where do you think you’re going?”

Charlie attempted to push himself up again, “Not here. I, I have to do something.”

There was a loud beeping as Charlie’s heart rate began to increase. “Charlie. You need to calm down.” Alan tried to keep his voice down.

“Calm down?” Charlie acted like he’d never heard the meaning of the word, “Calm down? You just told me that my brother is dead because of me and you want me to calm down?”

“How is this going to help Charlie? How is you getting up, tearing out your stitches, having to go back into surgery, and then making everybody even more worried going to help? Think Charlie, what about Amita? And Larry? They’re still alive.” Alan regretted that last sentence the moment it came out of his mouth.

Charlie relaxed and stopped trying to get up. Gradually his heart rate went back down to a normal pace. “Where’s Amita?” he asked

“She went to the house to grab a few things about half an hour ago. She should be back anytime now.” Alan realized that he should have brought up Charlie’s girlfriend sooner.

“So she’s okay?”

“Yes. She wasn’t even at the school yet.” Alan assured him glad that Charlie was no longer in danger of tearing out any stitches.

Suddenly the door opened to reveal Amita.

“Speak of the devil.” Alan said, trying to lighten the moment.

“Charlie!” Amita dropped the bag she had before heading straight to his bed. She hugged him tightly for a moment.

“Ouch!” Charlie croaked out.

Amita gasped, “Sorry!” She released him, but stayed on the bed next to him.

“I’ll go get a nurse.” Alan moved out of the room.

“Do you need anything?” Asked Amita.

“Uh. Something to drink maybe.” Charlie’s throat was dry.

“All right.” Amita got up to follow Alan and harass the nurses for some pain meds and something to drink.

Charlie lay on the bed, soon surrounded by nurses, doctors, friends, and his father. But not Don.

A person to die for part 4

A/N- Finished! But wow! This was the most difficult of all 4 parts. I don’t want to spoil it, so I’ll finish this note at the bottom

Disclaimer- I don’t own these characters… you all know the rest

Three Days later.

Amita knocked on the door.

“Just a minute.” Called a voice from inside.

After a few seconds Alan opened the door, struggling with a tie. Amita laughed and stepped forward, “Let me help you with that.”

“Thanks.” He let out a sigh of relief.

“Why is it that women are always the ones to tie a tie, when men are the ones wearing them?” Asked Amita as she undid the knot that Alan had managed to make.

Alan laughed.

“Speaking of men, where’s Charlie?” Amita asked after finishing Alan’s tie.

Alan’s tone instantly changed, “In the garage.” He sounded sad, “I think that he’s doing the same thing he did with his mother.”

Amita frowned, Charlie had just gotton home from the hospital last night. He wasn’t supposed to be doing much of anything.

“Is he even dressed?” She asked worriedly.

“He’s been in there all night.”

“You didn’t try to get him?”

“He locked the door.”

“How did he lock the door? I thought there wasn’t a lock.”

“There isn’t.”

Amita looked at him questioningly. Alan put a hand on her shoulder, “You’ll see.” He said as he pushed her towards the back door.

Amita headed to the garage, the door was shut, which was unusual. She tried to push it open, but it didn’t move. Amita knocked, “Charlie!”

No response.

“Charlie!” Amita pushed on the door, now she was worried. He had seemed fine yesterday.

“I’m working.” He called from inside.

“Charlie, we have to go.”

“I’m not going.”

“Your not going to your own brother’s funeral?”

Switch to Charlie’s POV

Charlie was surrounded by chalk boards. He’d created a little circle of them for himself, so that he was completely surrounded by math. It had taken all night, he’d been careful not to tear his stitches. The hardest part had been getting the hockey table in front of the door.

Amita was at the door, she wanted him to leave his circle. But Charlie felt safe in his circle, completely surrounded by math. If he could just keep working, maybe he would be able to forget about Don.

His chest hurt, Charlie had forgotton to bring the pain meds they gave him, and the ones he’d taken before sneaking out here weren’t working anymore. He would wait until Amita and Dad left before going out and getting them.

“Charlie, you have to come.” Amita wouldn’t leave.

“I’m not going.” He repeated.

She pushed against the door again, “How did you lock the door?”

“I pushed the hockey table against it.”

“You- How?” Amita stumbled over her words in astonishment. “Are you okay?” Charlie reflected that her voice raised slightly in pitch when she was worried.

When he didn’t answer for a moment she practically screamed, “Are you okay?!?”

“I’m fine Amita.” Charlie hated making her worry.

“You aren’t lying to me?” Her voice choked.

“Are you crying?” Charlie stood up automatically

This time she didn’t answer.

“Amita?”

“What do you want me to say Charlie? Yes I’m crying.” Now she sounded ticked.

“Why?” He asked incredulously.

“Because, my boyfriend was shot just a few days ago, and he’s barricaded himself in his garage instead of going to his brother’s funeral.”

From that point of view, what he was doing did sound kind of bad. Charlie got up and began to pull away the table, just enough for her to open the door.

When she didn’t open the door, he walked over and did. Amita was sitting on the ground, hugging her legs.

Charlie’s heart broke. What a mess. Now he had a dead brother, and a very upset girlfriend. Charlie couldn’t help but feel that all of this was his fault. He still couldn’t remember anything from Tuesday, but he knew that Don had gone into that room to save him. And now he’d upset Amita.

Charlie sat next to her, and pulled her head into his lap. She still hugged her legs as he buried his face in her hair, “I’m sorry.” He whispered.

Tears spilled onto his pants and she let out a small sob. “I don’t want to go alone.”

“Dad will be there.” Charlie said.

“I want you to go Charlie. Why can’t you go to Don’s funeral?”

Charlie paused for a moment, “I think its because if I go, then it will all be too real. If I go, if I see him put into the ground, then I’ll be giving up hope. I mean, I know that Don’s-” Charlie cut off there, not wanting to say it aloud. He cleared his throat, “I just don’t think I can handle-” he stopped again.

“But don’t you think you’ll regret not going?” Amita asked.

“I don’t really know.”

“What about Don? Wouldn’t he want you to be there?”

“I don’t-” Charlie stopped, and thought for a moment, “He was the one who made me go to moms.” He’d forgotten about that. Don had practically dragged him to his mother’s funeral.

“Do you regret that now?”

Charlie shook his head.

Amita sat up, and looked at him, “Then why won’t you go?”

Charlie looked at her, searching her face, while at the same time, cross examining everything Amita had said in the past few minutes. He calculated everything, and the math told him what he’d known all along.

He would go to Don’s Funeral.

A/N Cont. Now you can see. I really had to think about this one for a bit to figure out where exactly this would go. Thank you for all the support! Feedback is welcome.

Oh, and I have been told to put in an apology for any crying that took place. Apparently the killing of characters does that to people. *Evil Grin*

Experiment part 2

Scene from Serenity, the Pilot

I was watching the Pilot of Firefly and saw this scene between Simon and River, it's the one where River comes out of the box, and realized that there was probably a lot going on in Simon's head in just this minute long bit. So I wrote it from Simon's POV

Astonished, Jayne let go of me; probably to get a better look at her. I stood there for a moment, frozen. She made small whimpering sounds that came out like small screams and I ran to her desperately; nobody made any move to stop me. I dropped to my knees, “River.” I said, reaching out with trembling hands.

She looked away from my face and seemed to freak out even more, making more noises that made her sound like she was in pain, “Its okay.” I told her, trying to calm her down, “It’s okay I’m here.” I looked at her face, hoping to see the little sister that I loved.

She trembled and her eyes flickered to my face, “Simon.” She whispered, and as the trembling stopped I let myself believe for a moment that the information had been wrong. She was perfectly fine, just a little unstable from being woken up from cryo too early. We were going to be together again, everything would be fine.

But then my hopes were dashed, she started to shake even worse than before, “Simon,” She whined before breaking eye contact and looking around wildly, “They talk to me, they want me to talk-” I nearly cried as she began to rant, just like they had said she would. My little sister was broken, her body was there, and obviously parts of her mind, but she would probably never come back in one piece. My heart broke at the sight of her, sitting there, trembling and ranting like a madwomen.

I couldn’t believe that though, “They’re gone.” I said, then trying to convince myself just as much as I was trying to convince her, “They’re gone. They’re gone, we’re safe now. We’re safe, we’re safe.” Now I was ranting, repeating things over and over, I pulled her close, “Come here.” I whispered trying to stop the shaking as she trembled in fear. She began to gasp and make whimpering sounds again, but there weren’t so loud anymore.

“What the hell is this?” asked the Captain, and I was broken now, I couldn’t be angry at him for waking her up.

“This is my sister.”

An experiment

Here is a little experiment. I am going to post every single fanfiction I have ever written here on my blog. What have you read and what havn't you? Do you understand any of it? Like I said, an experiment. We shall see what happens.

Starting with the oldest

Missing Ending from “the Prodigal” While watching the scenes between Rodney and John I kept expecting something like this to happen, but it never did. So I decided to write it myself.

“Ready?” Asked John. Rodney nodded, “One two,” John turned the wheel and set his car racing ahead of Rodney’s.

“What?” He exclaimed and then turned his own wheel sending his bright yellow car after John’s flaming red and yellow one. Teyla laughed and continued to bounce Torin up and down.

The two cars chased each other around the small course that Rodney and John had lined out before hand. Even with Rodney’s juiced up engine it couldn’t catch up with the tremendous lead that John had.

Rodney grinned. Fine. If John wanted to cheat, then Rodney could cheat too. He had been waiting for the right moment to use this for a while now. He flipped open a small panel in the side of his controller. There were three buttons on the side that Rodney had put in himself. Each had its own little function that would help him win. The only question now was which did he want to use? It was likely that this would be the only time that he could use is so…..

Rodney hit the first one in the panel. His car made a little whirring sound and then took off. “Ha!” Exclaimed Rodney.

“What the?” shouted John as his car was overtaken by a yellow flying airplane that was shaped like a car. But he didn’t look nearly as mad as Rodney had hoped. Instead he just continued to drive. Then he slowed down.

Ah oh. Rodney thought. This couldn’t be good. Rodney looked over at John, eyes wide.

John just grinned and pulled something out of his pocket. Oh Crap. Rodney thought. He struggled to stop his car but it was too late.

BANG!!!

Rodney’s car, that he had spent four hours installing the magnets into, burst into flames. A small noise came out of his mouth. “Ahh.”

John just grinned and restarted his car to finish the lap.

Look out!

Look out!

Fun title eh? Another slightly random blog where I kinda know what I'm going to say, but I'm not really sure.

I wanted to discuss youtube in this blog post. Why? Because youtube has become a kinda big part of my life. How sad is that? I know.

Many of you know that I now put out at least one video a week every Tuesday. They are all fanvideos (Hence the reason it's fanvideo tuesday) and for those of you that don't know, a fanvideo is where I take the footage from a movie or TV series and essentially make a music video using that footage. Its actually more complicated than that, but that's the essential idea. I take these video's maybe a little too seriously, but I thoroughly enjoy doing them.

I am actually getting roughly 70-150 views per day depending on how recently I have uploaded a video. This is pretty good for the kind of videos I do, but I would love to become a real youtube 'vidder' as they are called. Examples include LoneSomeAngel, SmokeyFizz, and u2MachPhisto. These are youtubers who specialize in making fanvideos and get several thousand hits on all of their videos.

Like I said they are also called Vidders, so if you hear/see me refer to myself as one, that explains that. I also want to mention real quick that I have 46 subscribers. My birthday is in 1 week and I want 50 by then. Please? So if you have an account, or know people that have accounts please link my channel and subscribe! And of course rate 5 stars and comment if you wish ;-)

Oh, and fellow vidder, hatterandalice, and I are hosting a Alice/Hatter fanvideo contest between our two channels. That entry video will go live sometime tomorrow if all goes according to plan. So check it, and if you are a Hatter and Alice shipper feel free to enter! I can give tips and programs to use for making fanvids.

I think that's all,

More dark poetry... I would say enjoy but-

What haunts you?
Who follows you when you try to sleep?
What conversations do you play over and over in your head?
Wishing you could change them.
Say it differently.
Say what you meant to.
Say what you should have.

When you can't sleep who is there?
What person is it that scares you?
Why won't he leave me alone?
I havn't seen him in weeks, but every night he is there.
Haunting.

Taking my sleep from me.
Stealing it away.
Leaving me exhausted.

Conversations.
Actions.
Ones that we never had,
and ones that we should have.

No resolution.
No sleep.
Just them.

All of them.

In case you can't tell, I really havn't been able to sleep recently. This isn't actually about any one person specifically.

I got asked this question

If you could take over any country on the planet, which one would it be, and why? Bonus points if you tell how you would do it.

And I realized that I needed more space than was given to answer it, so Hyattch, this is for you.

I would take over Australia. Because its a fairly large country with virtually no enemies right on their borders. Because I took over Australia, I probably would have made some enemies, and would have a tactical advantage this way. Also because Australian's speak English so I would not have to learn a new Language.

My battle tactics would involve being elected president of Australia and then refusing to relinquish my control over the Island. To avoid much bloodshed, I will have bribed and blackmailed several other important political figureheads to keep my power.

Muahahahahaha. I hope that answers that for you :D

A new scene!

For those of you who have read my novel, there is a new scene that I think explains alot and adds more. Its in Chapter 1, in the girls cabin.

I realized I only had to talk to them to feel better. I couldn’t remember the last time I’d hung out with a bunch of girls my age; actually I could all too clearly.

Mom had made me go to a party after a track meet with a few other girls. She insisted that I wasn’t around other girls enough, so I tried to go. It was a Friday night, and like any other high school party there were far too many people, loud music, and beer.

I refused to drink anything, while the other four girls I had arrived with were quick to grab a cup and a guy. Within ten minutes I was by myself on a couch as others around me socialized and got high.

But I didn’t know what to do. If I went home now mom might get upset. But I sure didn’t want to stay.

As I was trying to make up my mind as to what to do, a guy fell onto the couch next to me, “Hey.” He greeted.

I smiled nervously not sure what to do, and then he spoke again with a slight slur, “Havn’t I seen you before?”

He had. His name was Gary and I was in his Geometry class, plus his girlfriend was on the track team with me. Still I shook my head no.

“Are you sure?” He slurred, squinting at me. Then the answer hit him, “Jules! Jules Glau. You’re that crazy runner, the one who broke the school record.” This actually was true, a month ago I had broken the school’s record for the fastest mile run.

So, I nodded my, “Yes that was me.” And he put an arm around my shoulders, “Well then!” He said and he started to lean into my face.

Maybe it was the contact, maybe it was the smell of beer and smoke. Or maybe it was just because I was so uncomfortable and the physical contact was some kind of trigger, but before I knew it I had jumped up from the couch and ran out of the room.

Everyone was so drunk or buzzed that none of them even noticed me as I sprinted away from the house. I was maybe five miles from home, not a long distance to walk especially since mom wasn’t expecting me home for several hours.

But right around then my brain started going a little wonky. I recognized the feeling and swore.

You see, I have some issues with my memory. The doctors say there’s nothing wrong with my head, but for some reason I can’t remember a thing about what happened so that I was put into Witness Protection.

Except for these times. Every few weeks my brain goes kind-of crazy and suddenly I can remember everything in vived detail. The problem is that when this happens I go kind of psycho. Its hard to explain, but the memories are so painful that I can’t handle it.

The first time this happened my mom totally freaked out. Apparently I was screaming at one point and she called Scott. He was calm the entire time, sat next to me and told me to tell him what I was seeing.

Eventually he helps my brain work out of it and calm down. But I can never remember what I was seeing that made me go psycho afterwards.

A week and a half later it happened again. I learned gradually to lock myself in a room and call Scott. He came, took notes from what I managed to spit out, and helped me calm down.

And now, as I walked away from a party, I felt the weight of memory on my brain. I pulled out a phone and hit the 2nd speed dial.

I shoved all of that that out of my brain though and paid close attention to Elle as she explained that she had gotten her otter from her first boyfriend five years ago.

Does that help some of you?

Blog readers,

I would like to introduce Insomnia. Insomnia and I have been seeing each other frequently for the past year or so, but I didn't think I was ready for a serious commitment. However in the past weeks, I have seen so much of Insomnia that I don't think that there is any point in denying it any further.

It is time. Insomnia actually made the decision for me, and is moving in permanently now. Thought you all would like to know.

P.S. Sorry if I laugh at things that aren't funny and run into walls.

No more hope for Stargate Movies?

As many of you know I am a very big Stargate fan (Save for Stargate Universe, and don't even get me started there)

Now, with the cancellation of Atlantis we were promised, up and down Wright and Cooper swore we would get and Atlantis movie. Well, that was a year ago and so far I've heard Zilch on that.

Then SyFy Tweets this "Check out 20 awesome #Stargate props headed to auction: http://tinyurl.com/ycnglwo" Now, I have no money but I checked it out anyways, and I think that this may be a sign that there will be no more Sg-1 or Atlantis movies. Why? They are selling some key parts of the Stargate Franchise. Ex. Ronon's Gun, Daniel's Glasses, The Malp, THEY ARE FREAKING SELLING THOR???

There are so many pieces of key Stargate franchise going up for sale. And then somebody showed me this (Thanks AngelJane8) You know what they are selling there? Costumes, and pieces of the Atlantis Gate.

I don't think there will be an Atlantis movie, unless they are planning to replace half the props, or do some majoy C.G.I.

What the heck???
