If you could take over any country on the planet, which one would it be, and why? Bonus points if you tell how you would do it.

I would take over Australia. Because its a fairly large country with virtually no enemies right on their borders. Because I took over Australia, I probably would have made some enemies, and would have a tactical advantage this way. Also because Australian's speak English so I would not have to learn a new Language.
My battle tactics would involve being elected president of Australia and then refusing to relinquish my control over the Island. To avoid much bloodshed, I will have bribed and blackmailed several other important political figureheads to keep my power.

Yes, yes you are officially Made of Win. I personally would take over Japan because they're going to be at least ten years ahead of everyone technologically forever, and there's plenty of good anime. How would I do it, same as you. Get in politics, refuse to step down, birbe people. If all that fails, coup d'etat baby, let the bodies hit the floor.
